Responsibilities:
- Qualify incoming leads
- Cold calling to uncover new partnership opportunities
- Generate and follow up leads from existing partners
- Present the value proposition
- Manage partner calls and coordinate web presentations
- Present product features, benefits, future product direction and overall solutions
- Analyze client's needs and propose solutions
- Support the partner and Hitachi ID in closing deals
- Coordinate partner sales efforts with both Direct Sales and Sales Engineers
- Manage multiple partnership projects and many partnership prospects
- Draft out Reseller Agreements, NDAs and sales quotes
- Update the Sales Tracking database in real time for review to ensure up to date status
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
- University degree from an accredited university
- Prospecting and qualification experience
- Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features, keen interest in information technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to talk to C-level
- Ability to understand customer's system complexity needs
- Strong analytical skills
- Closing skills
- Self starter with effective sales, marketing, time and project management skills
- Effective team player
- Adaptable to change
- Experience with identity management and Unix would be an asset
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
